I went at cp => profile and got some preliminaries feedback to share (I know it is over the task but it can’t hurt to know where we fail);
It’s a bit unfriendly... I mean the information is very thin and unless I know what I want the page information are not helping.
I tried to check the profiles that can help with: user, registration, users, profile, profiles... no results.
I turn advanced admin pref = no change.
I rebuild Admin Index = success dozens of profiles appears !Admin Index should be automatically rebuild on install because I guess a lot of things are then not working (search, profile...) as brand new admin expect.
Results are not helping again.
User = 28 results, many, many fields setting... (mini profile included in another profile)
Profile = ... herrrr not better a lot of answers

Personal_Blog_and_Profile_9x profiles.tiki.org beta, Featured profiles, 9.xI would limit the profile version displayed to no less than 10x (profile for 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x... really ?) it is not helping and add confusion.
As well as the Profile types it doesn’t help a lot...
The links “suggested” would have help if they were at least short description of what do the profile.- Priority
