In the function: function send_replace_item_notifications($args)
in lib/trackers/trackerlib.php, and change to the tracker generates an error and a failure for attempting to assign() to a non-existent object.

The line that generates it is:
$smarty->assign('mail_date', $this->now);

But if I comment that out, the next one generates it - so I think it is all assigns.

The error occurs if: I have a standard "watch" on all tracker activity. I have not tested moving the notification into the tracker setup screen.

To test, I:
1. Manually set $simpleEmail = "y"; error goes away
2. Set the Simple Email flag on the edit tracker prefs screen - error does NOT go away

If I add a rating to a new tracker, the rating is not saved.

Also the rating value star has an opaque white background.

These occur on dev.tiki.org presently.

Not logged i saw that they were 3 votes but could see star on or off;

If Rating with "Stars (system)" is supposed to be deprecated, could someone please help to switch the rating system in the dev.t.o Bug Tracker ([tracker5]) so that it can use whatever new rating system is not "deprecated"?
This way, since the new [http://doc.tiki.org/Rating%20Tracker%20Field|Rating field is not documented] as of Dec 14th 2013, we could see it here at least as a working example.{sign user="xavi" datetime="2013-12-15T10:39:46+00:00"}

Ok, added the new Rating system myself to the Bug Tracker (new field 152: "New Rating"). And it works out of the box. Good job whoever coded the new feature. {sign user="xavi" datetime="2013-12-15T10:45:10+00:00"}

Integrating a Simple Classifieds System with Categories and Subcategories would be nice. Each ad should be attached to the user that submitted it and possibly integrated with the user's "my page" so they can keep track of their ads, how many replies they've received and so forth. Nothing too complicated to start with...but it would be a fantastic addition to the software.


ML: Should this be a new feature or done with trackers? If done with trackers, it could distributed via the ((Profile Manager))

Since this is vast project, we'll use a wiki page: ((CRM))

I register with additional Information in a tracker.
Registration works fine, but the userID (=email address) dont show up in the tracker list. But in the Database at users_users it is there.

A category field in a tracker is not displayed in list view, nor in item view/edit.

If I edit an attachment field on a tracker and click OK, in Firebug I get a 500 internal server error when it POSTs with something like the following, and it does not save my changes...

Say I have a ((doc:TrackerList)) report: I want to edit several items, I would like the whole report to become editable with a single save button

Say I have a desktop spreadsheet file. I can copy-paste this to Tiki spreadsheet and it makes it fun & fast to move data to Tiki. (It's also easy to export to .csv to re-use in the desktop spreadsheet).

But what if I want my info in a tracker?

((doc:PluginTrackerList)) has displaysheet=y which displays in spreadsheet view. This is nice but we'd need to be able to edit existing records, and easily add records.

* Select some tracker fields with the checkboxes
* Select in the dropdown at the bottom: export selected.
* Click at go
Some popup box is shown, but no fields exported.

This (equivalent feature to export tracker fields) was working in tiki6

tracker export failing: fyi, it might be related to the length of the tracker (and/or the internal url that is generated). Tracker has 55 fields. When I remove the last 20 (or so) fields: export fields works. when I remove the first 20, instead (in another clone of the source tracker), it works also

Set the Tracker Status option "Modified item status" to Pending but when any field is updated the status remains as open. This is in Tiki 9.0. I haven't tried it in any other version.

On http://demo.tiki.org/7x/ if a text field has "prepend" (text that will be displayed before the field" and "append" (text that will be displayed just after the field) defined, such as open and closed parentheses, the "prepend" value is shown AFTER the field value, while nothing shows in front of the value.

in which 2 fields have such parameters defined:
field ID: 57 (Acro_En) and 59 (Acro_fr), both have options set to "1,15,(,),10,y"
which for value "UN" should show "(UN)" or for value "ONU" should show "(ONU)"
but shows instead "UN(" and "ONU(" respectively.

When adding or editing items in the tracker the fields show with their prepend and append characters correctly, but when doing "view items" the values are messed up as shown above.

This problem is a regression. Did not occur in v. 3, 4.x (through 4.2) or 6.0 and 6.1. __Also works on demo.tiki.org which is currently "6.4 proposals (SVN)"__.
In all of these versions, tracker items show with their prepend or append values correctly.

Copied some suggestion I just throwed on irc..., after fighting each time on some of my production sites to manually send messages to many users which are kind of lost some times at the beggining of their participation in a tiki-site-powered community.

This could also be important for ((Workspaces)), and ((Organic Groups)). So that, not just to register (join the registered group), but as a customized message per group, so that, when joining a new group (at registration time, or later on through the subscribe groups plugin), you get the specific message with hints, links and remindings of things adapted for that group.
