Two problems:

1. When adding an event to a Calendar using the 'add event' icon, the start and stop time are initialised to 1 hour BEFORE the minimum time set when creating the Calendar. If the times are not changed and an event created/saved with these 'early' times and the Calendar is then exported the date is exported as 1 day earlier, even though it shows correctly in the various Calendar views. If the event is then edited the start times are automatically reset to the correct earliest possible time and the fault is corrected when the event is saved.

2. When adding an event using the "Add event" button, the edit screen does not show any additional parameters e.g Priority, Location etc if they have set for the individual Calendar.

Whenever we select »Rating (descending)« for the parameter »Default sorting of topics« (I hope this is close enough to the english i18n, because we actually make use of the german i18n of Tiki) in a forum's settings (second to last parameter in the settings), and try to view the respective forum, we are presented a page with the error message:

As long as we stick to »Newest Postings«, we can use the respective forum as usual. Also, the ratings of topics are displayed in the topics list with no problem.

With 3.1 I did add a poll,
did add options via "quick option" function.
After adding and viewing/editing the poll it had every option twice, for each option both with the same position number.

TikiWiki 1.9.8, 1.9.9, 1.9.10, 1.9.11 does not provide binddn and bindpw, when initializing LDAP auth object in userslib.php.

So Tiki can't use authorized LDAP requests...

If you create a tracker with rating and you show the rating in the tracker list you have at least two problems:

* first you don't have just the rating but the complete voting grid in the list which is not what I expected but hey might be ok or at least should be noted somewhere but this is not the pb
* if a user votes click on the rating array two things happend :
** the global rating is changed which is not cool
** more importantly some other fields get changed to the value of the rating ! even fileds with drop down menu !!

So first the bug that changing the rating changes also other fields.
Second tracker fields with values from a list are not checked to verify that the value supplied is in the value list :(

Even though logged in, clicking on http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=2538&trackerId=5&show=view (which came up as a result of a bug search) results in the user being told "Error - Permission denied"

This should probably not be possible.

My tiki site was updated from 2.x to 3.0 .

Wiki don't work when i turn to next page in blog/Forum.

I found it work when i change & to ? .for example

In tiki-admin.php?page=login, the "Use tracker to collect more group information" check box is always checked, so everytime you change something, the feature is enabled. Kind of annoying to have to pay attention to that all the time.

I downloaded the XSPF Player by clicking on the Mod Number.
Then I clicked Install.

The following resulted:

In 8.1 it now renders this result:

If I replace all but one instance of PluginFile the results are OK. If I add a second instance the results are as shown above.

When you add the module last_files, the tikiwiki can't be started anymore! Everything is blocked and that is it. The server load goes up to the maximum

after installation of the learning_center profile, on top of a bare-bones instalation, the perspective module is not shown nowadays, but it did while in ((tw:TikiFestBarcelona))

and looking at the edit module interface, it says: "perspective (param): Only display the module if in one of the listed perspectives. Semi-colon separated."
and that param is empty by default

I do that logged as admin, and just in case, included the registered group into the admin group.

And deleted tiki caches several times just in case

it seems that the request handling of the char-encoding for preview is not propper.

I have the latest files for RSS, and the RSS feed is malformed. I fails to load properly in Firefox, and loads in other readers (e.g. Yahoo) but without formatting.

RSS Validator says one error is that there is an extra line before the first <xml... line, which is causing it to be parsed as HTML and not as XML for RSS. See here for an example; http://www.casesofinterest.com/tiki/tiki-wiki_rss.1.43.2.1.php?ver=2


I have spent a lot of time tracing the calls and I can't figure out why it works fine for blogs, but not for wikis as the code is similar. I hope someone who knows more than I can fix this.

Upgrading a site from 4.x to 5.0 appeared to be successful (i.e. no error messages are given) but the site opens only with an error page. The message on the page is "System error. An error occured while performing the request."

I traced the problem to the presence of a record in the tiki_preferences database with name=session_lifetime and value=20. It appears that if the value is non-zero, the system error occurs. Deleting the record or setting the value to zero solve the problem.

First I'll say I am skirting some lines in classification as the "SocialNetworking" feature is not listed in this tracker's options. I selected security because that is an indirect concern.

I work for a 200K plus employee tech company and am consulting to another company of similar size. I have been working with TikiWiki to run my department page for the last six years and have been working to promote it elsewhere in these companies. Company size is relevant as an indicator of their data security concern magnitude. I am finally getting traction in making my counterparts at both companies aware of TikiWiki and it's benefits, but with the advent of the external social networking interaction I can guarantee the data security team will see this as a data containment nightmare. Even making social networking available to be turned on by an admin will be seen as problematic and will threaten any further use of TikiWiki.

I rated this as a priority 7 because it threatens the my ability to continue running TikWiki at all. Emotional response would have me put it at a 9, however that should be reserved for technically inoperative systems. I chose "bug (usability)" because the presence of the feature threatens the ability to use Tikiwiki at all.

I see no problem with the internal social networking aspect features and use them currently to promote a collaborative environment.

The __Redirect__ plugin takes two parameters:
* page = foo (to redirect to a wiki page)
* url = http://foo.com (to redirect to any other page)

However, Tiki sanitizes the __url__ parameter, creating url, which breaks the plugin's redirection.

Unable to install 5.0 RC2 just after setting the Database Connection I received this:
Fatal error: Undefined class constant 'MYSQL_ATTR_INIT_COMMAND' in C:\wamp\www\tiki-5.0.RC2\installer\tiki-installer.php on line 432

Importantly, Google Maps Javascript API V3 is simply just faster than v2. Another big plus is that V3 does not need an api key. The currently used v2 api's key verification is known to have problems. It is also deprecated by google.

The topic says it all. I am running SLES Linux 10 for wiki host and with MySQL on a Netware box on the back end. MySQL Version 4.0.26a over TCP/IP.
