Important
- Tiki 6.x and trunk: Use a file gallery with archives (by putting "Maximum number of archives for each file:" to 0=unlimited, which is the default in 6.1 and 7). In this case, if a file is added to Tiki via WebDAV before using the web interface, a phantom archive file (0 byte copy of the file) is kept in the archive.
- To reproduce:
- Fresh install
- Activate WebDAV
- Upload file via WebDAV (you will see file size is 0)
- Download file and try to edit it and you'll see it's corrupt
- fixed in trunk and 7.x (6.x needs retesting)
- To reproduce:
- Upon activation, Tiki should check that your server meets server requirements for WebDAV
Other
- For files larger than the PHP configuration permits, WebDAV fails silently (not sure how to address)
- Can Tiki send an error message to the WebDAV client?
- 5.0 alpha: using Firefox plugin, I am able to open folder but I don't see any content and I can't drag & drop any content into it.
- Please retest
- doc.tiki.org/WebDAV states that OpenOffice.org doesn't seem to work with any version of WebDAV - neither OOo 3.x, 2.x or 1.x, even if you select that OOo uses its own file dialogues, from Tools > Options > General
- Please retest
Goodsync
Goodsync is a nifty file synchronisation/backup application. It supports WebDAV but it can't connect to Tiki...

Questions
- Can Tiki (or via .htaccess) detect the webdav client and automatically redirect to tiki-webdav.php?
- How can we map the remote drive?
- What is the maximum file size?
- Is concurrent editing fully tested? (if user B & A try to edit the same document)
- The web interface permits file locking. Does this also work via WebDAV?
- Can WebDAV uploads be resumed, in case of loss of connection or time-out?
- Can we delete everything related to old implementation? (it seems that it did things that the new one doesn't yet so maybe they should translate into a series of wishes?)

Feature request
- 8.x: A option for a link "open in WebDAV" in each wiki page
- This will be useful for translators needed to open wiki pages in their word processor to take advantage of their translation memory.
8.x
- 8.2: On certain servers (relate to fileinfo?) when first upload is via CyberDuck or BitKinex, the mime type is often wrong. This leads to (in WebODF is activated) to offer to "edit" Excel files (by right clicking wrench), but then gives an error: ""
- Similarly, if you upload an .svg via WebDAV, or create one via SVG edit, you'll have a similar issue
- But if you first upload via web interface, and after use WebDAV, things are OK
- Similarly, if you upload an .svg via WebDAV, or create one via SVG edit, you'll have a similar issue
- Using 8.x, Nautilus on Ubuntu 11.10
- there is a ghost "File Galleries" directory. Two are shown in Nautilus, one is the real one and the other one gives this error when I click to explore its contents: Could not find "dav://admin@.../tiki-webdav.php/Wiki%20Pages".
- The progress bar in the File Operations window doesn't update
