Description

Sometimes, we want people to participate to one wiki page, to access their user tracker to update personal information or access a workspace

Right now, we need to

  1. create a user
  2. create a group
  3. assign user to the group
  4. give permissions to group ( in general or for a specific item)
  5. inform this person, typically by email, on how to access this page

Instead, I would want to

  1. add an email
  2. pick the permissions this person has
  3. any limitations (works x times, or for x days/weeks)
  4. an optional message

And the system should send a 1-click login email (an email with a link in it which is unique / very difficult to guess).

Whoever clicks that link

  • Would be authenticated with the appropriate permissions and according to the limitations.

Solution

Share access to any URL has been added to Tell a Friend in Tiki5.

This doesn't let you edit & save though.

Keywords

The following is a list of keywords that should serve as hubs for navigation within the Tiki development and should correspond to documentation keywords.

Each feature in Tiki has a wiki page which regroups all the bugs, requests for enhancements, etc. It is somewhat a form of wiki-based project management. You can also express your interest in a feature by adding it to your profile. You can also try out the Dynamic filter.
