Citation
User can cite external and internal content. Cites will be stored in db and user can define “overlapping context are”.
Similar to zotero.org but not as external service
This module will capture screens (areas of those), web pages, url links and "grab" the content to the data base.
Intention is to have a valid document including citations even if the source moves, get deleted or is changed.
Option:
citation by url, screen shot or copy paste. See: http://www.evernote.com/about/intl/de/learn_more/ for hint.
when including in a wiki page the amount of content stored before and after the actual citation can be defined in characters (pixels, link depths??)
integrated with Unified Search?, Weighted Rating & Bookmark Manager
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citation & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citation_creator
Some Desktop Integration required?
cached links for included/snarfed files
Content Snippet-Areas
User can define broadcast content snippets. Those are published on a timeline like mechanism and can be reused by other (Tiki)-Sites. Maybe RSS is suitable? But thinking more of something like status.net which could serve as content push mechanism provider.
