New Release Testing

I'm developing a script for testing any new release or tag using the default profile.

  • Initial Login

Login as the admin.

    • Was password change forced?
    • Do all pages and modules load?
    • Is the admin module loaded?

  • Feature Setup

Click on Admin Home

    • Did the page appear?
    • Did the help link at the top of the page work?
    • Did the help link just above the icons work?
    • Are the proper icons active?

      • Meta Tags
      • i18n
      • Module
      • Look and Feel
      • Text Area
      • Site Ads and Banners


Click on General

    • Is the proper version showing at the top of the page?
    • Does the help link next to Admin:General work?
    • Does the help link next to General Preferences and Settings work?

The following is a list of keywords that should serve as hubs for navigation within the Tiki development and should correspond to documentation keywords.

Each feature in Tiki has a wiki page which regroups all the bugs, requests for enhancements, etc. It is somewhat a form of wiki-based project management. You can also express your interest in a feature by adding it to your profile. You can also try out the Dynamic filter.
