Purpose of this page is to collect some ideas, suggestions and guidelines which will give people a proposal to develop a shiny new, strong enough and visually appealing "Tiki" logo in a design contest which will then give us a winner voted by the TikiWiki Project community.
Background
This activity is being undertaken by the Tiki Marketing Group an ad-hock sub-group of the Tiki community. The role of this sub-group is to organize and facilitate this work, the final arbiter for this competition will be "us the community. The process of making this decision will be orchestrated by the marketing sub-group, not made by them.
Resources
To provide background, but also in an attempt to include the thoughts and ideas of as many of those in our diverse development and user community. This section contains references to a diverse set of resources and we hope designers will help us summarize and build upon some of the values and themes contained within this body of work.
However this section also highlights the diverse and collaborative nature of the Tki community. It is this diversity, openness and sense of collaboration that helps characterize the Tiki project, we hope the designs will reflect this.
