Roundup:
1: We believe the next level of collaborative content creation will be something like an open source collaborative ecosystem which incorporates monetary assets and business intelligence as extension of the open source idea. Collaborative Economic Operating System should bee seen as a concept not an implementation.
2. based on tiki we will develop a working showcase of such an integrated solution based on the "Online Publishing House" use case to be presented at bookfair 2011 in frankfurt and ask the tiki community to help us make this vision become reality.
Why?
There is a growing need for integrated collaborative environments. Currently the "PC" approach is standard.
This means that every single Desktop is totally independent, but the work done with such a "PC" isn't.
Todays work is fast moving, shifting and has a lot of dependencies. Additionally workers sometimes have multiple projects, perspectives but no way to use appropriate channels for placing their input. Using cclite, Weighted Rating and Contribution by Author.
Applications for this Model:
- Educational (Xavi de Pedro from University Barcelona, using Tiki and "R" which may links to concordances and Stefan Evert who uses "R" to "extract" the meaning of words by analyzing their usage)
- Documentation of Open Source Software (and earning money from this)
- Customer Concentric Open Source Software Development
- Dynamic Collaborative Development
- Projects with fluid teams and flexible tasks
- Utilize cclite, Auction, Contribution by Author, Weighted Rating, Roles & Avatar to measure the Collaborative effort of each Project member.
- Tax safe transaction definition. Make sure that only cashed earnings will be subject of taxation
