1. Tiki is committed to jQuery and jQuery Mobile.
2. jQuery Mobile strongly recommend using PhoneGap as it gives you the full tools you need to deploy HTML/CSS/JavaScript applications to a mobile device.

So we'll be doing just that.

For example, a Tiki app which benefits from one of these PhoneGap features.
